My Story
In 2018, my little bundle of joy, Holly, made her grand entrance into the world.
At the time, I was immersed in the fast-paced world of corporate fashion — living for design, travel, and all things trend-driven as a fashion buyer. I loved the energy, the creativity, the rush… and honestly, I couldn’t imagine life beyond it.
But life had other plans.
When Holly arrived with a few unexpected health challenges, including epilepsy, everything shifted. My priorities realigned overnight. Geoff and I knew we needed to slow down, lean on family, and create a life with more balance. So, we traded the city lights for the quiet charm of Hilton — my hometown — moving into my in-laws’ cottage while building our dream home and, as it turned out, a whole new chapter.
Those early mornings, after dropping Holly at playschool, became the birthplace of something new. With a spark of inspiration (and a cup of coffee in hand), I designed a logo, started an Instagram page, and began creating again — purely for the joy of it.
I devoured Skillshare classes, joined workshops, and slowly built a portfolio piece by piece. What started as small word-of-mouth projects — wedding invitations, logos, and anything creative I could get my hands on — grew into something far bigger. The slower pace, low overheads, and creative freedom gave me space to dream boldly without pressure.
Fast forward to today, and Indigo & Ivory Designs has become a thriving home-studio where creativity and connection meet. From wedding stationery to illustration and now shifting towards interiors, every project feels deeply personal — and I’m endlessly grateful for each client who trusts me to bring their vision to life.
Thanks so much for stopping by — it means the world to have you here.
xx
